High Precision Software Defined Radio (Rairan Pte Ltd)

Design and prototyping of 16-bits parallel high speed, high precision SDR with sigma-delta pipelined ADC integrated with FIFO to USB 3.0 super speed bridge. Controlled by PIC32 micro-controller.

SmartLoan: A DeFi Solution to Student Debt Crisis!

SmartLoan is a DeFi (Decentralized Finance) dApp that helps average person to generate smart student loan contracts. The uniqueness of SmartLoan is that the interest is calculated based on the debtor’s income instead of the fixed percentage of the amount borrowed. Volunteer/CSR Projects

2011

Technical Mentor
For Dream Catcher Consulting Sdn Bhd (Malaysia)
Penang  Science Fair 2011 (Malaysia)
Volunteer as mentor guiding primary school student to build a simple motor using only wires, paper clips and a battery. The purpose is to spark the interest on science among the children.

 

2013

Technical Mentor
For Commonwealth Secondary School (Singapore) 
19th Youth Science Conference 2013 (Singapore)
Volunteer as technical mentor to guide normal secondary school students to accomplish science fair projects and compete in an event for gifted students. Technical information provided to the students to design and build a Tesla coil, perform tests and measurement generated by it. The purpose of this project is to bring in normal secondary students who are interested in scientific research to complete and share their findings.

 

2013
Software Development of Library Management System 
For Skudai (Johor) Chinese Methodist Church (2013: ongoing support)
Set up the whole library management system from scratch. The software is programmed by C#, including utilities which allows librarian to directly retrieve all books’ information from Google Books database. The software involves parsing of JSON to XML to strings which will be processed by C# instructions. The software interface is easy to use & bilingual (Mandarin & English).
